"Intelligent Design" vs. the Tootsie Pop Standard

William Saletan has a nice column over at Slate where he cites a Monty Python sketch to illuminate the absurd testimony of religio-crackpot Michael Behe in defense of a Pennsylvania requirement that biology teachers mention so-called "intelligent design" in science class.
